How to merge PDF files online
Add your files
Drag in up to 30 PDFs, or click to browse. JPG, PNG and WebP images can be added too and become pages of their own. Password-protected PDFs are accepted — you will be asked to unlock them.
Put the pages in order
Every page appears as a thumbnail. Drag any page to move it, or drag whole files into position. Shift-click to select a range, then rotate, duplicate or remove the selection in one action.
Choose your settings
Name the output file, and decide whether to add a bookmark for each source file so the merged PDF has a working contents pane. Ctrl+Z undoes anything you change your mind about.
Merge and download
The merged PDF is built in your browser and downloads immediately. Nothing is uploaded, there is no watermark, no page limit and no signup.
What you can do while merging
Combining files is the easy part. The reason most people give up on a free merge tool is everything around it — a page in the wrong place, a scan that came in sideways, a cover sheet that should have been removed. All of that is handled here before you export.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
You can add up to 30 files at a time, each up to 100 MB. There is no limit on total pages and no daily cap — the only real constraint is your device's memory, because the work happens on your computer rather than on a server.
Does merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied across intact, with their text, vectors and images untouched. Merging is a structural operation, not a re-encoding one, so nothing is recompressed or degraded.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Yes. Add the file and you will be prompted for its password. It is used in your browser to open the document and is never transmitted or saved. The merged output is not password protected.
Will bookmarks and links survive the merge?
Bookmarks from the source files are not carried over, but the tool can generate a fresh bookmark for each file you merged, named after that file. Internal links inside a page are preserved.
What happens to PDF form fields?
Merging cannot keep AcroForm fields interactive, which is why flattening is on by default: any values already filled in are baked into the page so they stay visible. Turn flattening off only if the source documents have no forms.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The whole tool runs in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your documents, and any passwords you enter, never leave your device.
