How to rotate a PDF and save it permanently
Add your PDF
Drag in the file with the sideways or upside-down pages, or click to browse. Password-protected PDFs are accepted — you will be asked to unlock the file first.
Choose what to rotate
Leave nothing selected to rotate the whole document, or click the thumbnails of just the pages that are wrong. Shift-click selects a run, and Odd or Even grabs alternates.
Turn the pages
Use Rotate left or Rotate right to turn in 90° steps. Each page card also has its own rotate button, and the thumbnails update instantly so you can see the result.
Save the corrected file
Press Save PDF. The rotation is written into the file itself, so it stays correct in every viewer and when printed — not just on screen.
Why rotating in a viewer does not stick
Most PDF readers let you turn a page on screen, but that is a view setting — reopen the file, email it, or print it, and it is sideways again. Saving the rotation into the document is what actually fixes it.

Frequently asked questions
Will the rotation be permanent?
Yes. It is written into each page's own /Rotate value inside the saved file, so every viewer, printer and phone shows it the same way. That is the difference between this and rotating the view in a PDF reader.
Can I rotate only one page of a PDF?
Yes. Click that page's thumbnail to select it, then rotate. Only selected pages turn; with nothing selected, the whole document turns.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation changes a single value in the page dictionary. The text, vectors and images are untouched, and nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
Yes. Add the file and enter its password when prompted. The password is used in your browser and never transmitted or saved. The saved file comes out unprotected.
Can I rotate a page by 45 degrees?
No, and neither can any PDF tool. The format only stores rotation in 90° steps, so 0, 90, 180 and 270 are the only options. A free angle would mean re-rendering the page as an image and losing the text.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF and any password you enter never leave your device.
